Been watching since your Alaska trip, enjoy your blog. We've been with sidecars for 38 years , when we hada motorhome full time did not own a car, just our 81 Goldwing/ Watsonian sidecar. Doug Hasert, Mesa AZ
Doug, welcome aboard. Wings make for great sidecar hacks, don't they? Have only met two ladies named Estelle, both super nice people, you must have found a third one.
So looks like Damit is "mo better" now? Currently having clutch issues again on my rig, has me looking at other options as usual. The Jialing JH600B would be sweet but not available here in the states. Your path with Damit is another option, thanks for blazing the path for us.
If you can wait, you are welcome to try out my KLR rig at the USCA rally in July. If I had to do it over, it would still come down to either a KLR650 or a DR650. Simple, inexpensive, reliable, adventure oriented, parts available worldwide, many many aftermarket parts and upgrades.
I have not needed the two wheel drive but do miss the reverse now and then.

ReplyDeleteFIXED..... I hope. Thanks Richard, am still climbing that learning curve.
